GR Consulting has been in operation since 2002.
What we do
Our clients are real people in real world situations who want something done, or want to change something. Our role begins with understanding their situation and from that designing processes to produce the desired outcome.
Our clients and their needs are our focus. We work with them on what they want through designing the steps to get there.
Our work is with diverse groups and individuals on varied topics. That capability comes from academic and practical experience in designing process steps to improve situations. As well, because we are based in western Queensland it is advantageous to have the skills to work in a variety of topic areas.

Where we are based:
We are based in Longreach in central west Queensland and provide services to clients in a variety of sectors across rural, regional and urban Queensland including private, corporate, government and not-for- profit organisations.
We also work with clients remotely and online nationwide.

How we started
GR Consulting grew from my work as a learning facilitator at the Centre for Rural and Regional Innovation (CRRI) at UQ (Gatton) and my research at UWS (Hawkesbury) into the principles of how to design and facilitate activities where people learn from and through their own experience.
What this means is that provided I know the purpose and outputs clients have, then I can use learning principles to design matching activities that create the desired outcome.
My wife, Lenore, and daughter, Rhonda, work in partnership with me in the business in the areas of research, administration, finance, report writing/editing, social media, IT support and workshop assistance.
